Nokia N70 3G smartphone starts shipping
Nokia has begun shipping the N70, a 3G smartphone with 2 megapixel camera, flash and front camera for video calling. The N70 is one of Nokia's new high-end N-serries phones that are packed with features, and in my opinion, mark Nokia's return to the top of the must-have mobile gadgets.
It's less sexy than its sablemates, the N90 and N71, but it's still feature packed. I particularly like the embedded email configuration tool that helps users set up their preferred mobile email settings. Once set up, the user will get notification of new email and can then log on to retrieve it.
Other features include a digital music player and FM radio with support for Visual Radio, and the ability to plug the thing into a compatible home stereo system for stereo playback or recording. In addition, the Nokia N70 is among the first Nokia devices to include the Catalogs Client mobile shopping application, making it easy for users to quickly discover, trial, download and purchase new applications, services and content designed for the Nokia N70.
