Samsung SPH-B2300 mobile phone - the one with the satellite TV

Wow, this is more like it! Samsung’s turn to churn out new devices that really kick arse! This is the new forthcoming Samsung SPH-B2300 mobile phone (my, how that trips off the tongue!), complete with satellite TV reception, and interactive TV. Better still, check out the form factor. The screen not only slides up to reveal the keyboard, it also slides round, letting you see TV pictures in good ol’ landscape perspective.
In the words of Aving News Network:
“Samsung Electronics has announced that it has successfully invented the two-way data broadcasting communication solution and has come up with its new satellite DMB phone ’swing-type satellite DMB Phone (B2300) equipped with this technology at KES (Korean Electronics Show) 2005.
With this ‘BIFS(Binary Format for Scene) satellite DMB data communication solution, you can find more information about a particular thing in the screen while watching TV programs. For example, if you see news flash while watching soap opera, you can find more information about that right away with a cell phone. Or, you can address your opinion in real time while watching a TV talk show.”

Only available in Korea initially, but speculation mounts that it may find its way to Europe (come on Samsung, pleeeeease!).
