Nokia N92 and Nokia N80 compared with other Nokia phones

New mobile phones that sport amazing features, such as the rash of new Nokia N-series phones announced on Wednesday, lead to three very important questions before anyone will buy them:
  • How much do they cost?
  • How long is the battery life?
  • How big are they?

Anyone can build a gadget stuffed full with features, but to make a mobile phone stuffed full of features, it needs to be small.  Any bigger and it’s a PDA (or, at best, a Blackberry clone).  With the Nokia N92 and Nokia N80, some of these questions are now being answered.  Cost will be taken care of by subsidies by the operators.  Besides, these are amazing gadgets, and represent the top end of Nokia’s current line, so people expect to pay more.  Battery life will be about 4 hours of continuous mobile TV use for the Nokia N92. Not great, but long enough to last an arduous tube journey or two and still get to work with enough charge left to order in a pizza for lunchtime. As for size…well, Phonescoop has some interesting pics showing the Nokia N92 and Nokia N80 side by side with other existing handsets, and they don’t look too bad at all.

More pics after the jump.

The Nokia N80 mobile phone compared with other phones

As you can see, when lined up against the Nokia 3230 and Nokia 6230, both the Nokia N92 and Nokia N80 look perfectly in proportion.  OK, so the Nokia N92 looks a bit wider perhaps, having a little more girth than the others, but girth is good.  After all, you want to actually be able to see the TV on your phone! This is excellent news, as it means next year’s crop of super phones will be, well, super, and practical too.
