Samsung SGH P300 mobile phone

Motorola should take a leaf out of Samsung’s book - if you want to release a mobile phone with last year’s specs, shrink the device to credit card sized proportions. I thought Motorola realized this last year with the Motorola RAZR, which despite having a poor feature-set, was a huge fashion icon in large part because of its diminutive size. But as you can see with this, the new Samsung SGH P300 mobile phone, the RAZR is no longer diminutive. In fact, it’s looking a bit lardy, and even its features are outclassed by the Samsung mobile phone.

Just 14mm thick, the Samsung SGH P300 mobile phone is credit card sized, yet still feature-laden.  As well as Bluetooth, the Samsung SGH P300 is tri-band GSM/GPRS, and also has a 1.3 megapixel camera. In other words, it’s more feature-laden and much thinner than a classic Motorola RAZR. Worse, it also shows up Motorola’s latest RAZR variant, the V3i, which hasn’t shrunk, yet still offers the same features as the Samsung SGH P300 (oh, and iTunes as well, but that hardly requires any space to operate now, does it?) Come on, Motorola - I’d hate to think you were resting on your laurels!
