KTF-T1000: Subliminal mentalism in a mobile phone
After spending some time trawling through the delights of the KTFT mobile phone site, with the super-twisting origami-like KTF-TR2000, and the woman-mirrored dual mentality of the KTF-X8000, I’ve found a new mobile phone that’s made me scared - real scared! One of KTFT’s newer models, the KTF-T1000 has all the usual mobile phone gubbins - MP3 player, camera, video, etc. - plus one, er, hopefully unique feature - mind control!
For the KTF-T1000 is a mobile phone featuring subliminal programming. From the company’s web site:
“Subliminal programming stimulates users subconsciously, positively affecting their behavior and thinking. KTF-T1000 offers three modes of sound source, each of which helps relieve stress, aid in dieting, and improve concentration. Relax and let your body and mind go with the sound for 40~120 minutes a day for 2 weeks and experience how it works.”
Wow! As if last week wasn’t mental enough in mobile phone land, this week’s brought us SmellTones, origami mobile phones, and now mobile phones with mind control! Does anyone know if this actually works? And if you’ve tried it, have you by any chance thought you heard the phrase “Nokia bad, KTFT goooood?” If so, dump your Nokia stock and buy KTFT, ‘cos no amount of slick marketing’s gonna beat that for an ad campaign!
