New Nokia 6233 3G phone - designed for business and pleasure

A new Nokia phone has been unveiled today, in the form of the Nokia 6233. A 'classically designed model', according to Nokia, the 6233 is a sleek run-of-the-mill candybar phone designed "for business and entertainment". What that means in theory is that you get the PDA-style applications required by business, combined with the sexy features demanded by the home consumer. what it means in practice is that you get a run of the mill middle-range phone that's quite feature-packed, but with nothing eye-catching that immediately makes you want to buy it. Should make reviewing it fun!
For business users, the Nokia 6233 offers calendars, contacts, and to-do lists, while for home users, the 6233 offers a 2 megapixel camera, a 320 x 240 QVGA color screen, digital music player, stereo speakers and a wide array of features and applications that take advantage of the 6233's 3G connectivity.

Details of the new Nokia 6233 3G phone
The Nokia 6233 is the latest Nokia model phone to feature the Series 40 Platform 3rd Edition, ensuring that 3G services and applications can be accessed easily and intuitively. Supporting the latest messaging, browsing, music and video standards, the Nokia 6233 features a brilliant 320 x 240 QVGA display, with an 'Active Standby Mode' that gives immediate access to the most-used applications.
Battery life's good, with the 6233 offering more than 4 hours of talk time on GSM networks (more than 3 hours of talk time via WCDMA) and up to 2 weeks of standby time. It's not too hefty, either, being only 110 grams in weight.
To be fair, although the Nokia 6233 isn't meant to set the world on fire, it does come with a pretty comprehensive set of features. According to Nokia, "With new 3G services, such as streaming multimedia audio and video content, consumers can download the latest business news as well as sports highlights of the game they missed. Consumers on-the-go can quickly upload and download large files - including downloadable games, videos or MP3 or AAC ringtones. Music lovers can connect a pair of headphones and scan through their favorite music albums, thanks to the Nokia 6233's hotswappable microSD memory card support of up to 2 GB. A Visual Radio client and built-in stereo speakers offering 3-D sound complements the audio experience."
But it's still a candybar...you won't get me excited with a candybar!
