Motorola and Yahoo have demonstrated mobile podcasting at 3GSM.  Using a Motorola RAZR V3x, the Mobile Podcast application lets consumers drag and drop podcasts directly from their PC straight to their mobile phone through the Yahoo! Music Engine.  In addition, consumers can directly download podcasts over-the-air to their handset using an integrated application.

 

Demonstrated on a Motorola RAZR V3x, the application is extremely flexible and may be made available on a variety of Motorola handsets.

Motorola is working with NTT DoCoMo, Orange and T-Mobile to deliver HSDPA solutions that can achieve download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps.

IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem, a technology that merges Internet technologies with mobile phone technologies) is a big theme at this year's 3GSM, and Motorola are jumping on the bandwagon in a big way.  These are just some of the demos they'll be giving:

Never miss your favorite TV program; Motorola demonstrates TV on the Go with real-time channel selection and live TV streamed to a 3G UMTS handset.

See a live video call from a 3G UMTS handset to a home or office based IP video phone, which demonstrates voice and data services being simultaneously sent across different environments; taking video calling to the next level.

 

Both of the above applications utilize the ultra-slim and fully featured Motorola RAZR V3x.
