This may be a new Nokia iTunes phone. Yes, that’s right: the image shows the new Nokia N80i…with the i standing for iTunes. If this image has any hint of reliability about it, the next iTunes phone will not be from Apple, but from Nokia instead…and Apple seem to be stoking the rumours!

Nokia N80i iTunes Phone

Rumours of an Apple iTunes phone have been flying around the web ever since the feeble Motorola ROKR limped embarrassingly into the limelight, shortly followed by Motorola running away from Apple and switching allegiance to Microsoft. However, most pundits felt Apple would release an iTunes phone themselves rather than rely on another handset manufacturer. But a partnership with Nokia? Not even hinted at!

To add to the intrigue, CNet are reporting on an email that Apple sent to certain journalists today, saying that they should come to Apple’s Cupertino, Calif., headquarters next Tuesday to “Come see some fun, new products from Apple.” Apple gave no other details whatsoever about what those products could be. Man, those guys know how to tease!
