Talk to the Hand with Seiko’s Bluetooth Watch

Seiko Instruments (SII) have developed a prototype Bluetooth watch that communicates with your mobile phone. The prototype Seiko Bluetooth watch informs you when a call or email is coming in by vibrating or playing a ring tone...er, just like your mobile phone does! You can also use the watch to hold, answer or reject the call, as well as control other mobile phone functions.
"We are currently in talks with mobile phone manufacturers and other firms. SII aims to launch the first product as early as 2007," said a company spokesman. "Watches priced around ¥10,000-20,000 [$85 - $170] may feature the mobile phone accessibility using Bluetooth," he added.
So if you want to pay $170 for accessing your mobile phone's features on your wrist, talk to Seiko...or for a similar, somewhat cheaper, sensation, just hold your mobile phone!
