NewMobile have posted an interesting comparison between a Sony Ericsson W950i Walkman phone, a Nokia N91 music phone, and an Apple iPod G5. The test was to see which device was better for audio and video. After an exhaustive comparison, NewMobile found that the Sony Ericsson W950i came top for video (thanks to its better screen), and that the Nokia N91 was almost as good as the iPod for music.

NewMobile conclude that:

"Generally speaking we can say that when you buy a MP3 player you should also look at a mobile phone; especially the new N91 and W950i. Both models are close to the iPod and show that when spend a little bit more money you can get a device similar to the iPod but with a lot more into it."

They also add that "the Sony Ericsson also shows some options that the iPod does not have. The W950i is a phone..."
