BenQ-Siemens have released the new BenQ-Siemens M81 mobile phone. Pitching it as a 'sporty, urban, active' phone, BenQ-Siemens are obviously trying to cash in on the latest trend for sporty phones (such as the Sony Ericsson W710 and the Nokia 5500).

Like the Nokia 5500, the M81 is made from a combination of high-quality synthetics and rubber. Unlike the Nokia phone, though, that's where the sports-related features end. Unfortunately, the M81 is just a low-end phone with a few rubbery bits stuck on it, and not the 'sporty, urban, active' phone BenQ-Siemens would have us believe.
