Pictures of new Orange Smartphones
Orange has some tasty looking smartphones that they're about to release.
Orange have traditionally rebadged HTC's smartphones in the past, and that trend continues with the Orange SPV-C100 being a rebadged HTC Oxygen; the Orange SPV-F600 being a rebadged HTC STR TRK; the SPV-C700 being a HTC Breeze; and the SPV-M3100 being a HTC Hermes.
Orange will also be selling Samsung's Blackberry-killer, the Samsung i320.
Details and pictures of Orange's new smartphones after the jump.Orange SPV-C100
The Orange SPV-C100 is a candybar phone running Windows Mobile 5.0. It features push email, quad band, 48MB RAM (plus MiniSD), and 1,3 megapixel camera. Think of this as Orange's entry-level smartphone.
Orange SPV-F600
The Orange SPV-F600 is very similar to the SPV-C100, but uses a clamshell design. Both machines come with similar spec'd processors (200MHz) and memory.
Orange SPV-C700
The Orange SPV-C700 ups the specs of the C100 and F600 by offering a 300MHz processor, 3G and HSDPA for super-fast data transfer speeds. It's only tri-band though.
Orange SPV-M3100
The Orange SPV-M3100 is the daddy of them all. Based on HTC's Hermes design, the M3100 offers full quad-band connectivity, 3G, HSDPA, WiFi, 2 megapixel camera and a 400MHz processor. It also comes with a neat slide-out keyboard form factor making it the most PDA-like of all the new smartphones.
No release date has yet been announced, but if the speed at which Orange's current smartphones have sold out are anything to go by (my brother had to drive 100 miles before he found an Orange store that sold his new smartphone), you should grab one as soon as they're released if you want one.
