Pictures of new 5 megapixel Nokia N95 SatNav phone

Nokia have announced the extraordinary new Nokia N95 mobile phone, which must be their most advanced mobile phone yet. Seemingly set to out-do the Koreans at their own high-tech game, the Nokia N95 offers an unbelievable feature-set. How does a 5 megapixel camera sound? What about built-in GPS with streetmaps from over 100 countries? Still not enough? WLAN connectivity do you? Oh go on then, throw in HSDPA for blisteringly fast mobile data transfer.
And it doesn't end there! More amazing details of the stunning new Nokia N95 mobile phone after the jump.
Nokia N95 Superphone

The more I look at the Nokia N95, the more I want one, and I haven't felt like this about a mobile phone for a while now (at least a week ;)
Here's a run-down of its features:
- 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens
- GPS
- UPnP connectivity
- 2.6 inch QVGA 16 million colour display
- 3D graphics
- Superb sound
- 3G
- WLAN
- EDGE
- HSDPA

The GPS application not only provides maps from over 100 countries, it also provides route-finding software and the ability to locate services and restaurants.
The display is a glorious 2.6 inch QVGA with 16 million colours for superb web browsing using Nokia's glorious Mini Map feature, which lets you zoom in and out of web pages. Better still, the N95's form factor is a dual slider, with a traditional mobile phone keypad sliding out from one end, and dedicated media keys slding out the other. These media keys put the phone into landscape mode, enabling you to browse web pages much more easily than on a cramped portrait version.

Did I mention connectivity? Not content with standard 3G, Nokia have thrown in WLAN as well, and then thought "oh go on, then, have some HSDPA as well", giving you download speeds of up to 3.5Mbps on compatible mobile networks (i.e. none at the moment, but give it a year or two!).
The N95 also comes ready loaded with some great Internet applications, including email, support for RSS feeds, Yahoo! Search to search for and find most anything on the web, Amazon's MobiPocket Reader and seamless integration with Flickr for uploading images with just one click.
The Nokia N95 has been rumoured for some time, but I don't think anyone guessed it would be quite this feature-packed. Truly a stunning mobile phone. Congrats, Nokia!
The Nokia N95 release date is first quarter 2007, and should cost 550 Euros.
