Six videos of the Nokia N95 SatNav phone

The Nokia N95 was announced to an unsuspecting public last week with a features list so long, I need a new blog just to list them all! 5 megapixel camera, DVD-like video, full GPS SatNav, dedicated music buttons and mobile phone keypad in a neat two-way slider form factor, 3D graphics, HSDPA, WLAN, and on and on!
So many features has the new Nokia N95, that the only way to it any justice is to see it in action. So what follows is a round-up of the latest Nokia N95 videos on the web for you to lust after what surely will be one of the biggest mobile phone releases of 2007, and what will undoubtedly be the phone that sets the standard all other high-end phones must reach.

Nokia N95 video 1
First up is a 2 minute video of the Nokia N95 taken by NewMobile. This video clearly shows the great new user interface of the N95, and the speed with which all its features can be accessed. It also shows the amazing 3D graphics of Nokia's new beauty, demonstrated through one of its on-board games.
Nokia N95 video 2
The next video is taken by MobilMania.cz, and shows the Nokia N95 being demonstrated by a Nokia employee, and explores the camera features in some depth.
Nokia N95 video 3
Next we have a 1 minute video from ShinyShiny, showing the N95's two-way sliding form factor to good effect. ShinyShiny are quite impressed, apparently, which I think is typical British understatement :)
Nokia N95 video 4
The next video is a slick demo from Nokia themselves, showing a woman using the GPS facilities of the Nokia N95. In this video, the woman uses the SatNav functionality to find a coffee shop, and wanders the streets staring at her prized gizmo on proud display, oblivious to the eagle-eyed would-be phone thieves all around her (OK, so this my paranoia kicking in, and not a feature of the video!)
She finds the coffee shop, and then shows off one of the best features of the N95's GPS functionality: the ability to text your position to another Nokia N95 user, whose phone will then map out a route from that phone's location to the location of the phone that sent the text. Absolute genius!
Eagle-eyed viewers will see the Cingular logo in this video, giving you a hint of who will be pushing the Nokia N95 in the US.
Nokia N95 video 5
This next video's a good one, as it's one of Nokia's own adverts for the N95. It shows off a lot of the functionality of the N95, and keeps on reminding you fo all the amazing features this phone has, until your brain explodes with desire, screaming at you "buy it, buy it, BUY IT!!!" Sorry - a glorious product mixed with slick advertising is a powerful combination!
Nokia N95 video 6
Finally, this last next video features an Interview with Janne Haavisto about the Nokia N95, taken at Photokina 2006 by Pixinfo. The video is 12 minutes long, and amongst the features shown is an example of a photo taken by the Nokia N95's 5 megapixel camera, and printed out onto an A4 print. Despite the large size of the print, the results are still sharp, showing just how good the camera is.
The camera is quick, too, as Nokia have added a dedicated CPU and frame memory for the camera, meaning the camera functionality can act virtually independently of the main phone itself.
Conclusion
The Nokia N95 is without doubt one of the best high-end mobile phones ever to be developed featuring an astonishing array of features. As long as battery life isn't compromised too much, this phone has winner written all over it.
And here's more food for thought: the Nokia N95 is scheduled for release in Q1 2007 - just imagine what phone they'll be releasing in a year's tiime! The Nokia N95 - I want one, and I want one bad!
