Samsung SCH-B600 10 megapixel camera phone - just add laser sights!

Samsung have finally released their new Samsung SCH-B600, a mobile phone so packed full of features it makes the Nokia N95 look like an old brick (well, not quite!). We first saw the SCH-B600 at CeBIT in March 2006, and were amazed by its incredible 10 megapixel camera, complete with 3x optical zoom, autofocus and a proper flash unit that's optimized for a 10 megapixel camera.
More than just a gimmick, it seems Samsung really mean business with the camera on the SCH-B600, and are prepared to challenge Sony Ericsson's latesty CyberShot phones head on.

The Samsung SCH-B600 mobile phone also comes with a LED autofocus feature, enabling much better pictures to be captured even in the dark. The LED autofocus measures the distance between the camera and the target, and automatically adjust the focus for an optimal picture. Add to this white balance, maual focus continuous picture-taking, and interval picture-taking functions, and the only thing missing is laser sights!
As if a 10 megapixel camera wasn't enough, though the SCH-B600 also comes with mobile TV, which can be seen on the glorious 16 million colour 2.2 inch display, as well as record video at up to 30fps. MP3 player, TV-Out, bluetooth and support for MMCmicro cards round off the features of this superb phone.
Unfortunately, the Samsung SCH-B600 is destined only for Korea at the moment, with a hefty price tag of $900. But with Nokia ramping its cameraphones up to 5 megapixels with next year's Nokia N95, it won't be long before other mobile phones are just as feature-packed as the Samsung SCH-B600 - by which time, of course, Samsung's latest monster really will come with laser sights!
