KTFT have launched a new mobile TV phone that's not only tiny, but also can split the screen in two, with the TV shown in the top half, and the standard user interface shown in the bottom. The purpose of this nifty technological feat, is to let you use the phone's user interface whithout missing your favourite TV programme.


Big problem that I can see, though, is the size of the EV-KD350. It's a small phone to begin with, the screen's not huge, and splitting it in two means you'll presumably need bionic eyes to be able to read the text on the use interface, much les have the multitasking skills to watch TV at the same time!

And I know mobile TV is a cool idea, letting you watch TV wherever you are, but just who watches it so obssessively they can't bare to miss it for even a minute?

The EV-KD350 a cracking mobile phone though - DMB mobile TV, 1.3 megapixel camera, portable disc drive and, intriguingly, telematics, have all been squeezed into a tiny tiny space. Unfortunately, it's a Korean phone only, so won't see daylight outside of its native market.
