Leaked pictures of the Nokia N93i

Leaked pictures of the Nokia N93i have emerged. The Nokia N93i is, as its name suggests, an update of Nokia's existing N93 multimedia computer. The 93 focused on video, and although technologically superb, was seen by some as a bit, well, lardy. However, if rumoured specs are to be believed, the new N93i will still be the same size as its predecessor, which is a shame, as it was this that put some people off from buying it. More details and pictures of the Nokia N93i after the jump.

So what does the Nokia N93i offer that the existing Nokia N93 doesn't?
Well, current speculation seems to point to an improved build-quality, and the use of a mirror screen for its outside display, which will be a nice addition, but not essential.
Other changes include the use of a mini-USB connector rather than the existing pop-port connector, and a few new button changes.
Current specification is rumoured to include the following:
- Size: 119 × 56 × 28 mm
- Display: 2.4" TFT display with 262.000 colors and a QVGA resolution
- Camera: 3.2 Mpixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus, flash, optical zoom and DVD-like recording
- Memory: 50 MB + MiniSD memory slot
- Connectivity: Mini-USB port, Infrared, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, 3G/UMTS, Wifi 802.11b/g
- Messaging: SMS, MMS, Picture messaging, Email
- Operating system: Symbian operating system with Series 60 3rd Edition user interface
- Miscellaneous: FM-radio, Video-out, Flight mode
However, there's nothing here that the Nokia N93 doesn't already boast, and both mobile phones seem to share the same size. As such, it'll be interesting to see how much more Nokia has managed to change to make the upgrade from the N93 to the N93i worthwhile. Fortunately we won't have to wait too long, as Nokia are set to announce the Nokia N93i on December 1st.
