A Nokia N95 review has already been posted on the web! The Nokia N95 received huge attention when announced recently, and it's not expected to ship until early next year. That's not stopped The Nokialist from getting their hands on a pre-production model, though, it giving it a very thorough going over.

Early Nokia N95 review

The Nokia N95, if you recall, is set to be the very best of Nokia's premier N-Series multimedia computers (i.e. mobile phones!), and is crammed with so many features, sceptics are already wondering if Nokia can pull it off without compromising on size, usability or battery life (or even ship the thing when they say they will!)

Its feature list is huge, and includes HSDPA, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, and full GPS SatNav capability. But just how well do they work?

Well, even though it was only a pre-production model reviewed, it seems they work just fine. The camera apparently delivers great results (which you'd expect, given it's got 5 megapixels, CarlZeiss lens and auto-focus), and the N95 delivers "amazing quality" streaming video. Unfortunately, the GPS SatNav and WiFi features couldn't be tested on the pre-production model.

NokiaList conclude that:

"We have to admit, the N95 has grabbed our attention very much, although we have tested a pre production unit. Forget about all the details we mentioned above, the N95 gives you the feeling of being in control of what you want to do. I look at it from this angle and ask myself: how many gadgets I'll quit from now on.

Although we think there are some things that would make the N95 even better, such as the joystick, its current offering is really great. We are not going to rate it based on this early beta unit, but if we were going to do that, we don't think it would score anything less 95%. Just imagine how would the final product be rated.

If some people still misunderstand Nokia's concept of multimedia computers, I believe this device is Nokia's definite reply."
