Nokia 6086, 6300 and 2626 set to be best sellers for 2007

Hot on the heels of the Nokia 6290 smartphone, Nokia have announced three more mid- and budget-range phones for release early next year - the Nokia 6086, 6300 and 2626.
Spanning a range of features, from WLAN to cameras to, well, not a lot, the three new Nokias are expected to sell by the bucketload next year, giving Nokia loads of cash to spend on more interesting N-Series phones!
More details and pictures of Nokia's new phones after the jump.Nokia 6086
The Nokia 6086 (above) is being marketed as a cameraphone, yet only features a VGA camera. Not quite what I'd call a camera phone these days! That said, the 6086 comes at a good price (200 Euros), and offers greate connectivity, featuring quad-band GSM plus seamless switching to WLAN via the UMA standard, used by operators such as Orange.Features of the Nokia 6086 include:
- Camcorder and video player
- Wire-free enhancement use and synchronization via Bluetooth
- VGA camera with 4X digital zoom
- 6MB free user memory and microSD slot to enable storage of your favorite music
- Up to 5 hours of talk time, 10 days of standby
Nokia 6300
The Nokia 6300 is cheap and good looking (bit like myself!). A candybar phone, Nokia claims the 6300 is slim, but at 13.1mm, it's more than twice as thick as Samsung's thinnest. Despite this, it offers a good, if standard, range of features, and comes at a great price (250 Euros).
Its features are:
- 2 megapixel camera, 8x digital zoom
- 2-inch QVGA screen
- USB/PC Synchronization
- In-box memory of 135MB, with support for up to 2GB microSD cards
- Voice dialing, voice commands and voice recording
- MP3 player, FM radio
- Integrated hands-free speaker
Nokia have high hopes for the 6300, expecting it to be one of their best sellers for 2007.
Nokia 2626
Finally, we have the Nokia 2626, which is a bargain basement phone (75 Euros) with no features - so I'll just let the press release do the talking:
"The Nokia 2626 is a colorful mobile phone designed for style-conscious consumers in emerging markets. The Nokia 2626 will be available in a range of bold colors, such as Fiery Red and Spatial Blue, and includes an FM radio for music on the go. The estimated retail price of the Nokia 2626 is 75 euros before subsidies or taxes."
Marvellous!
The release date for the Nokia 6086, 6300 and 2626 is Quarter 1 2007.
