It's here - it's really here! Steve Jobs has finally announced the Apple iPhone. All those rumours will now finally be banished for good!

It'll be called the iPhone, apparently, and is a widescreen iPod with touch control, mobile phone connectivity and an Internet communications device, all rolled into one.
