Leaked pictures of Sony Ericsson M600i successor – the ‘Lizzy’

These are leaked pics of a new successor to the Sony Ercisson M600i. Codenamed Lizzy, the M600i update still has no camera, worse luck, but may come with EDGE and Wi-Fi connectivity. The M600i was never a great success, largely because it had no camera, and wasn’t all that functional a smartphone – certainly, without Wi-Fi it can’t compete with most of today’s smartphones.

More worryingly, it’s move to EDGE comes at a time when all other manufacturers are moving their smartphone over to HSDPA, meaning the new M600i will still be behind. Time will tell, though – all of this is just rumour and speculation at the moment. The new Sony Ericsson M600i successor should be available later in 2007.
