Super-fast LG Shine on its way

The LG Shine has been a huge success for the company since its release. Now LG have updated it a bit, giving it enhanced new features.
Rather than simply painting the thing a different colour, though, a la Motorola, LG have squeezed in HSDPA into the new Shine (called the LG-KU970), enabling it to transfer data at 3.5Mbps.
More details of the enhanced 3G LG Shine after the jump.
In addition to HSDPA, the new LG Shine will come with 2 megapixel camera as well as a VGA video camera for video calls. Like the original Shine, it also comes with Bluetooth 2.0 and an MP3 player.
Its super-fast speed will enable the new shine to download a 3MB MP3 file in just 7 seconds, while an entire 40MB video clip can be downloaded in just 1.5 minutes. With that amount of data being downloaded in such a short time, though, best get yourself an all you can eat data tariff (such as T-Mobile’s Web n Walk), rather than a pay-per-byte option!
The new 3G LG Shine will be released in Singapore and Australia later in May, and across Europe and Asia shortly after.
