OK, you want more details on Sony Ericsson’s new phones – here they are:

Sony Ericsson K850i Cybershot phone

  • Cybershot 5 Mpx
  • Xenon Flash
  • HSDPA / EDGE
  • 2.2″ 262,000 colour screen
  • BestPict / Photo Fix / Pictbridge.

Camera sounds nice, good to see HSDPA in a Sony Ericsson phone, but the small screen and its limited colour range is disappointing, particularly for a phone so focused on photography. Mind you, a 5 megapixel CyberShot camera phone with xenon flash should be capable of some excellent photos.

Specs of the W910 and W960 after the jump.

Sony Ericsson W910 Walkman phone specification

  • Slider
  • HSDPA / EDGE
  • Walkman 3.0
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • 86 grammes

Other than the use of HSDPA, nothing new here – even the camera’s a lowly 2 megapixels.

Sony Ericsson W960 Walkman phone specification

  • WiFi
  • UMTS (not HSDPA)
  • Walkman Touch Player
  • Symbian UIQ 3.1
  • 3.2 megapxiel camera
  • 119 grammes
  • 2.6 inch touchscreen

Ooooh, this is more like it! Bigger camera, touchscreen, integrated WiFi. Looking forward to seeing how the touchscreen works.

More details real soon…
