CES 2008: Samsung shows off its new phones

Samsung were showing off a few new mobile phones at CES 2008 this year (and yes, I know this post is a bit late, but I've just moved house...give me a break!).
Among their offerings were a "truly innovative" music phone (the Samsung SGH-i450), a camera phone (the Samsung SGH-G800, which has actually been on sale in the UK for a few weeks now), a smartphone (Samsung SGH-i620) and a Sat-Nav smartphone (the Samsung SGH-i780).
More details and pics of these new Samsung phones after the jump.
Samsung i450

First up is the new Samsung i450 music phone.
Samsung are touting this as "truly innovative", as it has a dual slider form factor, similar to the Nokia N95, and touch wheel music navigation, which I think I've seen somewhere else!
Running Symbian S60 3rd edition, the i450 should certainly be a capable phone, and as it comes with HSDPA, it should be no slouch when it comes to downloading tunes, either.
More importantly, given that it's a music phone, the i450 continues Samsung's recent partnership with Bang and Olufsen with a B&O ICEpower amplifier built in, which obviously offers superior sound quality.
Should certainly be a match for the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones.
Samsung G800

The Samsung G800 is a 5 megapixel camera phone with image quality said to be even better than that of the class leading Sony Ericsson K850i. I've written about the G800 before, so I won't talk too much about it here, but I'll be posting a comparison of the two phones very shortly to reveal just which is the best camera phone in the world at the moment.
Samsung i620

The Samsung i620 is a Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out, but rather limited features - only a 2 megapixel camera, for example.
Looks rather ugly, too. I'm not a fan of vertical smartphones - i.e. those smartphones where a tiny QWERTY keyboard slides out when the phone's held vertically. It makes the phone look squat while the keyboard looks squashed - bot a good compromise.
Samsung i780

Of more interest is the Samsung i780, another Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphone, but this time featuring GPS capabilities, Wi-Fi, an optical mouse, HSDPA, and again a rather weak 2 megapixel camera.
OK, so this is another vertical smartphone, but this one looks really cool. It's also a top-end mobile phone that has enough features to challenge the Nokia E90 - except that the keyboard of the E90 is much better.
All of these phones are either on sale now, or will be very soon.
