Three’s New INQ1 Facebook Phone reviewed

Three have been a notably innovative mobile phone operator, and are continuing with that trend with the new Three INQ1 Facebook phone. Following in the footsteps of the Three Skypephone, the INQ1 is focused around the features of one particular Web-based service – Facebook in the case of the INQ1.
You get all the usual features you’d expect from Facebook readily to hand – status updates, friend’s profiles, etc. But that’s not exactly integrating Facebook into the phone is it?
Fortunately, the INQ1 goes much much further, and takes Facebook to places it’s never been before!
For starters, whenever someone calls you, their Facebook profile photo is automatically called up. Facebook emails are also placed in the same inbox as your normal emails, so you don’t need to manage several different inboxes.
More impressively, the INQ1 supports push updates, so that whenever something happens with your Facebook friends, the change is instantly pushed to your phone. No need to constantly refresh, you see exactly what’s happening as it happens.
The Three INQ1 is an extremely novel idea that’s implemented rather well. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of many top end phones, but then it’s not meant to be a top-end phone, so that’s ok! You even get free phone calls over Skype thrown in, too, which is a nice feature.
