Nokia 7705 Twist – a super-social phone for social people

Finally tonight, a last post featuring…yet another Nokia phone! Honestly, I think these guys are trying to make sleep deprived. I’m sure they’re releasing phones faster than I can write about them!
The phone in question is the Nokia 7705 Twist, a cheap phone (just $99) that actually looks like a lot of fun. Not only has it got a neat form factor, with a twist out QWERTY keyboard, it’s also designed to be social, showing your texts in a nice threaded style, and letting you publish your status updates to blogs and various social networks.
I don’t think it’s hugely over-featured, but then it is cheap, and it should make a good present for a young’un somewhere (as long it’s not too uncool for them!).
Seems to be available only in the US at the moment, on Verizon’s network.
You can find more details from Nokia’s press release.
Right, I’m finally off to bed – Nokia, please don’t release any more phones until I wake up!
