Sneak peek of Samsung SGH-i520 Smartphone
Samsung are about to unveil their new Samsung SGH-i520, another smartphone form the maker of millions of mobiles (well, they release over 100 a year anyway!).
Details are limited at the moment, but it’s most definitely a mobile phone rather than a full PDA, featuring only standard mobile phone buttons rather than a full QWERTY keyboard like its recently-released sibling, the Samsung SGH-i760.

Samsung SCH-B600 10 megapixel camera phone – just add laser sights!
Samsung have finally released their new Samsung SCH-B600, a mobile phone so packed full of features it makes the Nokia N95 look like an old brick (well, not quite!). We first saw the SCH-B600 at CeBIT in March 2006, and were amazed by its incredible 10 megapixel camera, complete with 3x optical zoom, autofocus and a proper flash unit that’s optimized for a 10 megapixel camera.
More than just a gimmick, it seems Samsung really mean business with the camera on the SCH-B600, and are prepared to challenge Sony Ericsson’s latesty CyberShot phones head on.

Nokia 5500 Sport Music Edition
Nokia have announced the new Nokia 5500 Sport Music Edition. Well, not exactly new, more just a Nokia 5500 Sport with enhanced music features. This follows on from Nokia’s recent expanded push into the mobile music market, with its enhanced N91, N73 and N70 mobile phones that featured new music features and expanded storage, plus its new Nokia 5200, 5300 and 3250 mobile music phones. Nokia are clearly feeling the music at the moment!
So what have they added to the Nokia 5500? Well, a 512 MB microSD card (for storing 375 tunes), a fitness carrying strap, bicycle holder and sports headset packed in a “new energetic color.” Ah, not much then! It does look great, though, and if you were interested in the 5500 before, you’ll really love the new model.

Samsung SGH-P310 mobile phone – Good looking, good features, and thin
Samsung will soon announce the new Samsung SGH-P310, a super-thin mobile phone that’s the successor to the company’s SGH-P300. The P300 was a credit card-sized phone that was only 14mm thick, but it did look a bit like a calculator. Actually, it looked a lot like a calculator, which is presumably why the new P310 looks a lot more phone-like, with classic Samsung detailing, such as its super-black case and almost teutonic good looks.

Pictures of great looking Pantech IM-U130 phone
Pantech have announced the new Pantech IM-U130, a mobile phone with 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, Bluetooth and 512MB of internal memory. Aside from all that, though, is the looks of this Korean mobile phone.
Silver, slim, large screen, and really sleek and clean looks all round, the Pantech I-U130 looks great. Destined only for Korea at the moment, though, with no news on its availability in other markets.

Samsung SCH-B570 8GB Music Phone
Samsung have announced the SCH-B570 mobile phone. Following in Samsung’s fine tradition of super hi-tech phones, the B570 sports an 8GB hard disk drive capable of storing 1,600 MP3 tunes (in true Samsung style, this is the “world’s largest storage capacity for a handset”). As if that wasn’t enough, it also offers 5.1 channel virtual stereo and echo effect, to apparently bring you the same quality of sound you’d expect from a 5.1 channel home theater system.
And did I mention the satellite mobile TV, Picture in Picture feature, GPS, 2 megapixel camera, and motion sensor? No? Then read on!

Sony Ericsson W800i Review – InfoSyncWorld
InfoSyncWorld have a review of the Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone, which they like…a lot! Despite their reservations over the camera (great camera for a phone…but still a phone camera, and no replacement for a camera camera!), it scored well in most other areas, receiving 93%. They conclude that:
“Despite an advanced feature set which includes a high quality camera and similarly high-performance audio player, the Sony Ericsson W800i manages to maintain strong battery life. Its lack of EDGE for high-speed data aside, the handset also delivers an excellent overall experience in the communications and messaging departments. The Walkman branded Sony Ericsson W800i comes highly recommended not only for youth, but for everyone in need of a brilliant combination of mobile phone, digital camera and portable music player.”
Can’t say fairer than that!
