Nokia unveils the new widescreen Nokia N97
The hype is over folks – welcome to the new Nokia N97, Nokia’s latest N-Series wonder phone. The N97 seems to be a neat blend of an N-Series phone and an E90, taking all the multimedia gloriousness of the N-Series and marrying it to the superb Web browsing experience you get on the E90.
There’s a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which wil be super-ergonomic (the E90′s is a peach), and a massive screen for desktop-like Web browsing. In fact, the screen is the star of the N97. It’s massive – 3.5″ in size, widescreen 16:9 ratio, and touchscreen to boot, making it perfect for browsing the Web.

Hello Kitty, says the BenQ-Siemens AL26
BenQ-Siemens have launched the BenQ-Siemens AL26 – complete with Hello Kitty livery. Aimed at “girls and young women” (surprisingly!), the AL26 is a low-end mobile phone with little in the way of features other than a 65k colour TFT screen and polyphonic ringtones.
Somehow, though, I don’t think features are going to be the main selling point of this phone!
Hello Kitty is a hugely popular brand in its right, with collectors buying anything and everything that features it.
So, if Hello Kitty’s your thing, the BenQ-Siemens AL26 is your phone. Fortunately for me, and any self-respect I might have left, it’s not :)
Motorola KRZR Preview
Motorola recently announced its new Motorola KRZR mobile phone, and PhoneDaily have managed to get a sneak preview. The phone itself is pretty unremarkable – actually, it’s very unremarkable – but you can’t deny it looks good. OK, it looks like a RAZR, but it’s still good looking.

Motorola RIZR struggles to RIZE above the competition
Motorola have also announced the Motorola RIZR today.
After the RAZR, the KRZR, and now the RIZR, Motorola’s gone mad with its mobile phone launches, and will soon be running out of letters to wrap around the original RAZR!
The RIZR is a step up from the KRZR, offering a 2 megapixel camera, quad-band, MP3 player and Bluetooth with A2DP-stereo compatibility, all in a slider form factor.
Still not exactly setting world alight though. Originally known as the Capri, the RIZR is set to replace the SLVR.

Nokia N92 mobile TV phone in a real person’s hands
If you were wondering how big the new forthcoming Nokia N92 mobile TV phone will be, Cellularmania have some interesting shots of the new handset in the wild, so to speak (well, in someone’s hands, anyway; and that someone doesn’t seem to be a giant, either, proving that the Nokia N92 won’t be a leviathan of a device when it comes out).
So, eminently useable, utterly desirable, and lets you watch Neighbours on the train – really, what more could you want in a mobile phone?!
