Nokia 6290 smartish phone
Nokia have announced the new Nokia 6290, what the company is calling a smartphone. A good looking clamshell, the 6290 is a 3G phone featuring 2 megapixel camera, 2.2″ 16 million colour screen, MP3 player and two way video calling. It’s smartphone attributes come from the fact that it uses the Symbian S60 OS. However, compared to other genuine smartphones, such as the Sony Ericsson P990, it’s not all that smart.

Sneak peek of Samsung SGH-i520 Smartphone
Samsung are about to unveil their new Samsung SGH-i520, another smartphone form the maker of millions of mobiles (well, they release over 100 a year anyway!).
Details are limited at the moment, but it’s most definitely a mobile phone rather than a full PDA, featuring only standard mobile phone buttons rather than a full QWERTY keyboard like its recently-released sibling, the Samsung SGH-i760.

Leaked Pictures of new Samsung SGH-i760 smartphone
This is the forthcoming Samsung SGH-i760 smartphone. Looking more like a (slightly large) mobile phone than a PDA, the i760 is a fully featured smartphone complete with full QWERTY keyboard that slides down. Based on Winows Mobile 5.0, the i760 is as feature-packed as you’d expect from a Samsung phone (apart from the camera, which is only 2 megapixels rather than the 10 megapixel monster Samsung recently announced).

Sony Ericsson P990i review
The Sony Ericsson P990 reviews show the P990 to be a worthy successor to its legendary predecessors (the P910, P900 and P800). The P990 looks very similar to these earlier Sony Ericsson smartphones, but adds a 2 megapixel cameraphone, Walkman-quality music features, execellent office tools, and best of all, full WiFi connectivity.
Offering touchscreen input together with a full QWERTY keyboard, exceptional messaging and connectivity options, a great range of software, and hardware 3D graphics accelerator, the Sony Ericsson P990 is one superb looking smartphone.
