Which is the best 5 megapixel camera phone?
One of the surprises of the year has been the resurgence of the camera phone. Whereas 2007 was meant to be the year that mobile TV took off, it’s actually died a quiet death while a plethora of stunning new camera phones that really perform well have emerged to take its place.
Nokia began the trend with the Nokia N95, a feature-rich Sat-Nav phone that also comes with a great quality 5 megapixel camera. Hot on its heels was the superb new Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber Shot phone, which will be out very shortly. The two other competitors come from the Korean giants LG and Samsung, with the LG KU990 Viewty and Samsung G600 respectively.

LG KU990 Viewty Review
The first in-depth LG KU990 Viewty review has reached us, courtesy of CNet. After spending the last year or so focusing on designer phones, such as the LG Chocolate and LG Shine, LG are repositioning themselves in the high-tech arena once more, and the new 5 megapixel LG Viewty camera phone is the first phone to be released as part of their new strategy.
Of course, LG have released a 5 megapixel camera phone before in the shape of the LG KG920, but that had no autofocus and was pants. The LG Viewty, on the other hand, looks to be glorious.

LG Viewty offers 120fps video recording
LG have announced the LG Viewty, otherwise known as the LG-KU990. The Viewty name might make you cringe, but the features certainly won’t: 5.1 megapixel camera, anti-shake technology and video recording at an incredible 120fps video. Better still, you can upload your videos directly to YouTube with just a single button push.
