Sony Ericsson Vivaz now available on Vodafone

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz has been one of the highlights of the year – and its only February! The Vivaz is a fantastic new 8.1 megapixel camera phone that can shoot superb video in HD, and comes with a tonne of features not found on other camera phones that ensures the pictures you take are as good as they would be from a dedicated digital camera.

The Vivaz is one of the most eagerly awaited phones of 2010 – but you can ensure you’re the first to get your hands on it by preordering it with Vodafone.

Check out Vodafone’s tasty online-only deal after the jump.

Sony Ericsson wows with the Vivaz Pro

Well, who’d have thought – Sony Ericsson have stolen the limelight (so far at least!) at MWC 2010. First the Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro, and now this – the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro.

We’ve already seen the Vivaz as it was announced a few weeks ago. The Vivaz is a superb Symbian-based touhcscreen phone with stunning mutlimedia features.

What the Vivaz Pro brings to the table is the addition of a physical QWERT Y keyboard. Think of it, then, as the final nail in the coffin for the much-maligned Nokia N97. In every respect the Vivaz is a better phone, and now with a better physical QWERTY keyboard, there’s no reason whatsoever to buy Nokia’s offering.

But back to the Vivaz Pro – is it any good?

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro: Cute baby Androids that could corner a whole new market

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, an Android-based touchcsreen smartphone, has been leaked and officially announced for months, even though it’s still not on sale. We’ve also had rumours of the Xperia X10 mini, which has just been confirmed by Sony Ericsson at their press even at MWC 2010.

What we weren’t expecting, though, is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro, a tiny Android smartphone with a name that’s longer the phone and a physical QWERTY keyboard – you know, for pros!

Is the Xperia X10 Mini (and the Pro) any good though?

Sony Ericsson Aspen preview – the perfect business phone?

Sony Ericsson have announced the Sony Ericsson Aspen, a new business-oriented touchscreen Windows-Mobile phone taht actually looks pretty slick. Indeed, if you were looking for an alternative to the ubiquitous Blackberry and don’t like Nokia’s E-Series of business phones, the Aspen could be right up your street.

Not only does it look the part, but it comes with a range of features that make it perfect for business.

Find out why after the jump.

Video: Sony Ericsson Vivaz preview

Sony Ericsson have semi-officially announced the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, their latest high-end feature-phone. The Vivaz follows on from the Satio in focusing firmly on features, rather than the all-singing smartphone abilities of the latest superphones released by HTC and others.

And just like the Satio, the Vivaz offers some truly stunning features. Sony Ericsson haven’t been half-hearted with their new baby – they’ve given it everything they’ve got!

Check out the features, plus a video of the Vivaz, after the jump.

Leaked pictures of the Sony Ericsson Faith

If you wondered why I called the HTC HD2 the best Windows Mobile phone in the world, take a look at these leaked pics of the Sony Ericsson Faith and shudder!

The Faith hasn’t even been announed yet – these are leaked pics after all – and so it’s a phone that will be much new than the HD2 when it’s released, yet already you feel like you’re looknig at a phone from 2005!

Blimey, Windows Mobile needs updating, and fast – and Sony Ericsson needs to stop working on ugly phones and ugly OSes like this!

Sony Ericsson Robyn leaked, plus why they killed the Nexus name (you can probably guess!)

Sony Ericsson are also absent from CES 2010, keeping their tinder dry for MWC no doubt, but again we’ve got another leaked photo, this time of the Sony Ericsson Robyn. The Robyn appears to be a cut-down Xperia X10 (and may eventually be called the X10 Mini), and so is another Android device featuring the same user interface as the X10, but with a smaller screen and probably no keyboard.

Sony Ericsson W995 Review – discover the best kept secret in mobile phones

The price of the Sony Ericsson W995 has recently dropped, making it a fantastic deal if you’re looking for a top of the range phone with a huge list of features, but for a bargain price. In fact, its new price makes the W995 the best kept secret in mobile phones this Christmas – and one that you’ll be delighted to have discovered!

Why? Because although the W995 has a great feature-set – including huge 8 megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS and tons more – other sexier phones have since been released, and so the price of the Sony Ericsson W995 has had to be lowered to attract people’s attention again.

The result is a great mobile phone with some superb features for a ridiculously low price – perfect for a credit crunch-busting Christmas present!

To see if the W995 is for you, read our Sony Ericsson W995 review below.

Leaked pictures of the Sony Ericsson Kurara HD phone

First this week, we had official news of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, and now we have leaked pics and rumours of the Sony Ericsson Kurara. Unlike the X10, the Kurara isn’t a smartphone; rather it looks to be a multimedia phone with killer good looks, 8 megapixel camera, and better still, the ability to record in 720p HD.

More details and loads of pics of the Sony Ericsson Kurara after the jump.
