LG GD900 Crystal Review – truly unique twin touchscreen phone
The LG GD900 Crystal in this review is a curious phone as it comprises two touchscreens in one: the standard touchscreen you’d expect to find; and another one on the keypad.
But then the keypad is also curious: it’s completely clear. Crystal clear, in fact, hence the name!
Combine all this curiosity with LG’s great S-Class user interface and you have a superb touchscreen phone that’s choc full of novelty, and which really knows how to stand out from the crowd.
At least, that’s how it appears on the surface – is it actually any good though? Read our LG GD900 Crystal review to find out.
LG Pop GD510 review – At last, a touchscreen phone that doesn’t cost the earth
LG have released the LG Pop GD510, a touchscreen smartphone that’s been on something of a diet. Following on from the success of the LG Cookie, itself a lightweight touchscreen phone that’s super-cheap but does just enough of what it needs to (and which has sold an incredible 7 million units), the LG Pop GD510 avoids the feature bloat of most other touchscreen smartphones, and focuses solely on the features customers need.
What features are they? Read on after the jump to find out.
LG BL40 Chocolate review – a phone to end boredom permanently
The LG BL40 Chocolate phone in this review could one day save your life (assuming being bored to death can genuinely happen!)
Remember the last time you were in a hotel room with absolutely nothing to do? Crap TV in a foreign language, or films so expensive they cost more than the price of the room. Or what about the time you were on a train that slowed to a crawl…for seemingly hours on end?
We’ve all been in situations where we’ve cried out for something interesting to do.
Sometimes you need something to keep you entertained – a comedy, a film, even all 24 episodes of 24, anything to ease your stressed out, overloaded, or just plain bored brain!
LG must have thought that too, as they’ve just released the LG BL40 Cinematic phone – and blimey does it blow away the boredom blues!
LG KU990 Viewty Review
The first in-depth LG KU990 Viewty review has reached us, courtesy of CNet. After spending the last year or so focusing on designer phones, such as the LG Chocolate and LG Shine, LG are repositioning themselves in the high-tech arena once more, and the new 5 megapixel LG Viewty camera phone is the first phone to be released as part of their new strategy.
Of course, LG have released a 5 megapixel camera phone before in the shape of the LG KG920, but that had no autofocus and was pants. The LG Viewty, on the other hand, looks to be glorious.
