Samsung i8910 Omnia HD Review: the smartest feature phone around

The Samsung i8910 Omnia HD in this review is a superb combination of high-end feature phone and slick touchscreen smartphone. If you demand the very best features from your phone, but you don’t want to lose the ease of use of a touchscreen, the Omnia HD is quite possibly the only phone you need to consider.

At its heart, the Omnia HD is all about video – and high-def video at that. Capable of recording and playing HD video at 720p, the Omnia HD gives you the best quality video of any mobile phone on the market, and shows it off in superb style with a super-clear 16 million colour AMOLED screen.

That’s not the end of its talents, though – not by a long shot. With superb 8 megapixel camera, GPS and slick touchscreen interface, the Omnia HD is perfect if you can’t decide between a high-end feature phone or a touchscreen smartphone – the Omnia HD gives you both!

Sony Ericsson W995 Review – discover the best kept secret in mobile phones

The price of the Sony Ericsson W995 has recently dropped, making it a fantastic deal if you’re looking for a top of the range phone with a huge list of features, but for a bargain price. In fact, its new price makes the W995 the best kept secret in mobile phones this Christmas – and one that you’ll be delighted to have discovered!

Why? Because although the W995 has a great feature-set – including huge 8 megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS and tons more – other sexier phones have since been released, and so the price of the Sony Ericsson W995 has had to be lowered to attract people’s attention again.

The result is a great mobile phone with some superb features for a ridiculously low price – perfect for a credit crunch-busting Christmas present!

To see if the W995 is for you, read our Sony Ericsson W995 review below.

Sony Ericsson Satio Review – the best camera phone in the world

Before beginning this Sony Ericsson Satio review, we need to clear something up – Satio is pronounced Sah-tee-oh, apparently! Right, with that out the way, let’s have a look at what the Sony Ericsson Satio has to offer.

Imagine having the perfect mix of camera and phone, with a huge 12.1 megapixel camera capable of taking superb pictures, coupled with a touchscreen user interface and all the mobile connectivity and multimedia features you could ever wish for. That, in a nutshell, is the Sony Ericsson Satio.

When Sony Ericsson decide to create a flagship mobile phone, they don’t mess about – they create one that blows the competition out the water! The Satio might not be the first 12.1 megapixel camera phone on the market (the Samsung Pixon 12 takes that honour, at least in Europe and the US), but is the best – and by a long long way.

Read on after the jump for the complete Sony Ericsson Satio review.

Update: We’ve added a guide on how to choose the best camera phone, and picked our list of the best camera phones of 2009

Sony Ericsson Aino Review

The new Sony Ericsson Aino that was announced recently really can lay claim to being called a true multimedia computer (to use Nokia’s hackneyed term).

The Aino is designed from the outset around multimedia, and can seamlessly connect to your PC or your PS3 and stream content from either device anywhere in the world.

Actually, this is worth repeating. You can stream your music, videos, even live TV (with the ability to pause, rewind and record, just like Sky+), anywhere in the world straight to your Aino over an Internet connection.

Effectively, the Aino is a tiny SlingPlayer in a phone – but one which also comes with an 8 megapixel camera, MP3 player, GPS and pretty much everything else you’d expect from a top end mobile phone.

In other words, it’s one seriously cool phone!

Sony Ericsson C902 Review

Time for a Sony Ericsson C902 camera phone review, I think! The C902 is another Sony Ericsson CyberShot phone, this time destined to take over from its predecessor, the Sony Ericsson K850i. As you’d guess, the C902 is therefore all about taking photos, but it’s got an armoury of other features as well. Not quite as many as a Nokia N-Series phone, but it is extremely well equipped, and much slimmer than the K850i, too.

Better still, the C902 is being pitched as a mid-range phone, so despite its range of high-end features, it won’t break the bank.

What do you get for your money? Read our full Sony Ericsson C902 review to find out.

Sony Ericsson K800i Review

Sony Ericsson K800i review

The following Sony Ericsson K800i review is a little different from other mobile phone reviews across the Web (and certainly different from other reviews we’ve done here at MobileMentalism). It’s a long-term review, showing what the Sony Ericsson K800i has been like to use over the course of six months.

The K800i is a very capable camera phone, being part of Sony Ericsson’s CyberShot range, and is now available at extremely attractive prices. To see whether the phone is for you or not, hit the link to read our full long-term Sony Ericsson K800i review.

Sony Ericsson K810i review

The Sony Ericsson K810i is another of the company’s famed Cyber-Shot phones.

Featuring a 3.2 megapixel camera with a proper Xenon flash, the K810i is capable of taking pictures that would be worthy of a digital camera just a few years ago.

As I’ve come to realise, Sony Ericsson’s phones aren’t all-in-wonders, like some of Nokia’s or Samsung’s, but are instead phones that focus on one or two key features, and implement them extraordinarily well.

The K810i is one such phone – a 3G phone with cool looks and an excellent camera.

Read on, then, for the Sony Ericsson K810i review, including comparison photos taken from the K810i and also a Canon IXUS 70 digital camera.

New Sony Ericsson W880i Review posted

The Sony Ericsson W880i is a super-slim designer phone, and, as this Sony Ericsson W880i review shows, looks absolutely glorious.

Despite being just 9.4mm thin, Sony Ericsson have managed to cram 3G, a 2 megapixel camera, great sounding Walkman music player, and a cool 1GB of storage into the W880i.

There are other designer phones on the market, but not many manage to carry off the combination of great looks and great features that the W880i does.

Check out our full Sony Ericsson W880i review for more details.

Sony Ericsson W810i review

The Sony Ericsson W810i is another of Sony Ericsson’s famed Walkman phones, and although it’s only an incremental update from the W800i, most Sony Ericsson W810i reviews from across the web rate it very highly.

As a Walkman phone, the W810i’s features are focused mostly on music. This is evident both on the outside of the phone, with dedicated music keys, and the inside, with easy to use playlists and tune down loading software. The sound quality of the W810i is also very high (which you’d expect from any gadget badged by Sony as a Walkman).

Being a Sony Ericsson phone, though, the W810i doesn’t just end with music. The W810i also features a 2 megapixel camera, email, EDGE, quad-badn connectivity and a host of other features. As a good looking mid-range mobile phone, now being discounted heavily, the Sony Ericsson W810i is a great buy for Christmas 2006.

Sony Ericsson P990i review

Sony Ericsson P990 review of this great Sony Ericsson smartphone

The Sony Ericsson P990 reviews show the P990 to be a worthy successor to its legendary predecessors (the P910, P900 and P800). The P990 looks very similar to these earlier Sony Ericsson smartphones, but adds a 2 megapixel cameraphone, Walkman-quality music features, execellent office tools, and best of all, full WiFi connectivity.

Offering touchscreen input together with a full QWERTY keyboard, exceptional messaging and connectivity options, a great range of software, and hardware 3D graphics accelerator, the Sony Ericsson P990 is one superb looking smartphone.
