The LG GD900 Crystal in this review is a curious phone as it comprises two touchscreens in one: the standard touchscreen you’d expect to find; and another one on the keypad.

But then the keypad is also curious: it’s completely clear. Crystal clear, in fact, hence the name!

Combine all this curiosity with LG’s great S-Class user interface and you have a superb touchscreen phone that’s choc full of novelty, and which really knows how to stand out from the crowd.

Time now for a Motorola Milestone review. The Motorola Milestone was released late 2009 in the US, where it was called the Motorola Droid and hailed as the saviour of Motorola.

It’s recently been launched in the UK as the Milestone, and is Motorola’s attempt to convince the world that it really can make great phones again – in this case, a great Android 2.1 device designed to take on the wealth of super-smart phones that are on the market.

The question is, though – can it? Does the Milestone offer enough to make it better than its rivals from the likes of HTC, Samsung, Palm, and the iPhone? Does it have a better interface, better features, and a better all round user interface, and is it more than just another Android phone?

In short, is the Milestone worthy of your cash?!

Why should you care about an HTC HD2 review? HTC’s new huge smartphone is based on Windows Mobile, and with the mobile world seemingly full of Android phones, iPhones and Palms, doesn’t that make it already out of date?

The short answer is no: Windows Mobile is certainly out of date, but nothing on the HTC HD2 looks even remotely like Windows Mobile! HTC have created their own sleek user interface and refined it for the HD2, and then given it the horsepower via the 1GHz Snapdragon CPU to turbocharge its responsiveness.

The result is the best Windows Mobile phone ever made, and one that should certainly be on your shopping list if you’re looking for a cutting edge smartphone with some serious power.

Here it is at last, my full hands-on Nokia N97 review. I’ll give you the low-down on the good and points of the N97, as well as how well it works as a smartphone (which I’m in a good position to assess, having owned a Nokia E90 and now a T-Mobile G1). You might be surprised by the answer!

I finally got to play with the Nokia N97 that Nokia kindly sent me. Here are my first impressions of it. Full review coming tomorrow, and much, much more video (which may or may not be a good thing, depending on whether you like the sound of my voice as much as I seem to ;)

Here it is at last – my hands-on T-Mobile G1 review! I’ve had a Nokia E90 smartphone for the past 18 months, but was forced to replace it when it started to go slightly haywire! So after much thinking, I decided to go for the T-Mobile G1, the first Google Android phone on the market. And I’m so glad I did! To say it’s completely changed the way I use my mobile phone, the Web, and even the time in my day is an understatement!

Just like the iPhone, the G1 is a disruptive technology that’ll further transform the mobile phone market.

Time for a Nokia 5800 review, I think.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone has been eagerly awaited, as it’s been touted as Nokia’s first real iPhone-killer. Sporting a fancy new touchscreen user interface, the Nokia 5800, also known as the Nokia Tube before its release, is a mid-range phone that’s designed purely for fun and media while offering a similar user interface experience to the iPhone.

Better still, it comes with Nokia’s Comes With Music service, which lets you download an unlimited number of tunes from its music store for an annual subscription.

So with good looks, a promising user interface and some nifty features, all from a phone that won’t break the bank, the Nokia 5800 looks very promising indeed. Read on for the full Nokia 5800 review to find out if it lives up to its hype.
