5 super-fast Toshiba smartphones leaked
One of the surprises of this year’s Mobile World Congress even was Toshiba’s TG01 smartphone. Not only did it feature an innovative new user interface, it also ran on the brand new Windows Mobile 6.5 and came with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, making it the fastest smartphone on the market.
Well, it seems Toshiba are not happy on resting on their laurels, and so are busy working on another five new smartphones, each of which feature the same 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and many of which are even more fully featured than the original TG01.
Full details of Toshiba’s new smartphones after the jump.
Toshiba TG01 offers largest screen and fastest processor of any smartphone
Toshiba seem to have learned from the mistakes they made with the Toshiba G910 smartphone, and have come up with the Toshiba TG01, a brand new smartphone that does all the things the G910 never did.
It’s got the usual set of features that you’d expect of a smartphone – GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel camera, etc. But you had most of these features with the G910. With Toshiba’s old model, though, the performance of the device was so dire that it rendered every single feature it had utterly useless.
Not so the new TG01. In fact, such is the power of Toshiba’s new beauty, it’s just set the benchmark for every other smartphone to beat.

Video: Toshiba Portege G910 review

As well as the extraordinarily long Toshiba G910 review I did the other day, I also recorded a video of the G910 browsing the Web. You can see how it’s not the best experience in the world, and also how fiddly the interface is to use. Note: it’s a ten minute video, and my camera skills need a little improving (not to mention a tripod!)
Hands-on Toshiba Portege G910 Review
The Toshiba Portege G910 I’m reviewing is a Windows Mobile-based smartphone with a list of features as long as your arm. The G910 is a designer smartphone that Toshiba are pitching as a mini-laptop. With HSPDA, Wi-Fi, GPS and a plethora of other goodies, not to mention a full-QWERTY keyboard inside and good looks to boot, you can see where they’re coming from. The question is, is it as good as the Toshiba Portege name would suggest it should be?
Well, I’ve got my hands on one, so read on for my full hands-on Toshiba Portege G910 review.
